How to Make a Minifig Rigging Arm
This is how I make a rigging arm for a minifig. The soldering helping hand are really useful to keep you minifig in the correct position while you take your photo.
Directions:
1 Pull legs off your minifig.
2 Cut off both pins that hold the legs onto the hip.
3 Drill a 2mm hole in the centre of the hip where the pins were.
4 Drill a 2mm hole all the way through one of the legs.
5 Push a M2 nut into the back of the other leg (the one without the hole drill)
6 Thread the other M2 nut onto the RC plane control rod.
7 Thread the leg with the hole onto the rod, then the hips and then screw on the rod onto the leg with the nut in it.
8 Snug up the outer nut so the legs are tight again. (super glue can be used on the nuts to stop them from coming loose again)
